UWSA Vice-President of Finance and Operations

I am currently your UWSA Vice-President of Finance and Operations. Starting the role was daunting at first but has given me all the tools to make a change for students. Managing over 150 student groups on campus as well as the finances of the UWSA has prepared me for the role of President and has showed me exactly where we need to improve. I have created an easier way to opt-out of Upass which will be implemented in the Fall semester, and I have also worked alongside our student groups coordinator to better enhance our UWSA policies and by-laws to make amends them. I want them to reflect exactly what our student body values.

UWSA Walksafe/Food Pantry Coordinator

I was the UWSA Walksafe and Food Pantry Coordinator for a year and a half. Being Coordinator has allowed me to get closer to students living on campus, and to understand what they need to succeed. All students must have access to basic necessities as it is not fair for any student to worry where they are getting their next meal from. That is why the food pantry was so important to me. Ensuring that food insecurity was eradicated on campus was crucial, especially during covid. Meeting and training volunteers has also allowed me to meet some great student leaders on campus which has helped me grow as a leader myself.

UWindsor Tennis Club Co-Founder and Co-President

Furthermore, I am also the co-founder and former co-President of the Uwindsor tennis club which stemmed from my passion to bring people together through tennis. Giving the opportunity to students to pick up the sport, and to socialize with others, especially during the pandemic was so rewarding. We were able to set up weekly practices and tournaments by partnering with our local tennis club here in Windsor.
